Development/Sales Director

Good Shift, an innovative online training program that teaches restaurant and bar employees to serve alcohol responsibly, is seeking a highly-organized, motivated individual to:

  • Promote and sell the program to restaurant, bar and tavern owners
  • Nurture and close distribution partnerships with insurance companies and agencies
  • Work with government agencies to obtain recommendation, approval and promotion of the program to meet individual state alcohol service requirements

Good Shift’s goal is to empower bar and restaurant employees to serve alcohol responsibly in an effort to reduce potential injuries to guests and the community, as well as mitigate potential liability losses for establishment owners.

Qualified candidates must have proven sales success and be able to engage audiences through group presentations and webinars. The right candidate will be able to connect and communicate effectively with bar and restaurant owners, as well as insurance agents and policy makers.


  • Demonstrated self-starter who takes prompt action and has outstanding followup skills
  • Must be proactive, energetic and friendly
  • Exceptional organizational and communications skills (both written and verbal) are necessary
  • Demonstrated ability to accomplish tasks, organize personal schedule to optimize time and process tasks at a detail level.
  • Ability to build relationships and interact with individuals or groups, build consensus and take action
  • Strong basic computing skills, office productivity software, presentation software


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ year’s sales experience
  • Vendor interaction/management experience
  • Knowledge or experience in training principals/skills
  • Aptitude and interest in software/technology
  • Experience in the service/hospitality industry is a plus
